The Bible often illustrates the Christian life as a battle against sin and Satan. The Holy Spirit gives the ability to talk about spiritual things with power. “Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. God is spirit, and His worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth.” Yes, blasphemy against the Holy Spirit is any sin that a person clings to by continually resisting the convicting power of the Holy Spirit. But clothed in the whole armor God, the weakest of His children is more than a match for Satan.
Faithfulness
The belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the gospel, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation and the sword of the spirit. That is why it is so important that we study the Bible and become familiar with its truths and its power. The sword of the spirit is the only weapon of offense listed in the armor of God.
